Day 1: Arrive Chennai (Madras)
On the day of arrival, you will meet our representative, who will meet you at the Chennai Airport/ Railway station and will take you to the hotel .
Day 2: Chennai sightseeing
After Breakfast you will proceed for the sightseeing in Chennai where you will be taken to Kapaleeshwar Temple, Parthasarathy temple Ashtalakshmi temple Birla Planetarium Rail Museum Fort.St. George St.Thomas Mount Church Marina Beach, Santhome Cathedral, and also the National Art Gallery. Chennai is a beautiful place, you can roam the streets to see the culture of this amazing place, after that, the night will be spent in ChennaI
Day 3: Kanchipuram via Mahabalipuram
After breakfast, check out from the hotel in Chennai. You will then proceed to Kanchipuram which is a One and a half hour drive by road. After you will proceed for sightseeing. Kanchipuram is known as one of the seven holiest towns of its own kind. You will be taken to Kailasanathar Temple, Varadaraja Perumal Temple, Ekambareswarar Temple, Kamakshi Temple. The other interests include Christ Church: A Briton named Mclean built this church in 1921 and Kanchi Mutt. Then you will be leaving for Mahabalipuram which is a maximum two hours of a ride by road, just 66km away . After checking into the hotel in Mahabalipuram you will rest for the night. In the morning, after breakfast, you will be taken for sightseeing, Crocodile Bank, Shore Temple, Arjuna’s Penance, Five Ratha’s and Tiger Caves. Then you will be spending the night in Mahabalipuram. This place holds historic beauty from 7th and 8th century.
Day 4: Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry
Later, you will check out from the hotel in Mahabalipuram and proceed to Pondicherry which is a 4-hour drive from Mahabalipuram. You will check in the hotel in Pondicherry and rest for the night. In the morning, after breakfast proceed for sightseeing in Pondicherry. Pondicherry is french colony ever since the times of 7th and 8th century. Being that, this place has a rich history as a French colony you can still find the traces of this French culture in the city. The place is beautiful in itself; you will be taken to Arikamedu, Shri Aurobindo Ashram, Pondicherry Beach . The following night will be spent in Pondicherry.
Day 5: Pondicherry – Tirchy via Thanjavur
After the breakfast, you will check out from the hotel in Pondicherry and then proceed for Tanjore which a four-hour drive is. When you will reach Tanjore, and proceed for sightseeing. You will be seeing Brihadeeshwara Temple, After proceed for Tiruchirappalli. It is a One hour and fifteen minutes drive from Tanjore 60km away. After checking into the hotel in Tiruchirappalli, you will proceed for sightseeing, you will be taken to Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, Jambukeswarar-Akilandeswari Temple,. You can also opt for rummaging through the local markets of Trichy. The rest of the night will be spent here.
Day 6: Tirchy – Madurai
After having your breakfast you will proceed for a drive to Madurai which is a two-hour drive. After arriving in Madurai, you will be checked into the hotel and after resting for a while, you will proceed for sightseeing in Madurai. You will be seeing, Thirumalai Nayak Place, Sri Meenakshi Sundareshwar Temple, Alagar Koil and Gandhi Museum. If you have some time left, you can also rummage through the streets of Madurai and get to know the culture.
Day 7: Madurai – Munnar
After having your breakfast in Madurai hotel you will proceed for a drive to Munnar which is a four-hour drive. After arriving in Munnar checking in hotel.
Day 8: In Munnar
On the Day eight of your trip, you will be roaming around the major attraction of Munnar city also the extremely beautiful Eravikulam National Park which features over 123 species of avifauna. Munnar is a town which has the Western Ghats; the place is surrounded with rolling hills dotted with tea plantations. The national park is located at the distance of 15km from Munnar. Then you can stay the night at Munnar.
Day 9 : Munnar – Alleppey
On day nine of your trip, you will be checking out of the hotel in Munnar after Breakfast and then leave for Alleppey which is a four-hour drive from Munnar. Alleppey is a beautiful place, known as the Venice of South. The place is a huge network of backwaters and houseboats. You can stay the day at the hotel or check out the nearby places. The town is small and holds a lot of rich cultural values. The modern houseboats are completely equipped with modern facility. The stay at one of these houseboats will be memorable.
Day 10: Alleppey – Kochi – Depart
After breakfast in alleppey, you will proceed for Cochin which is a one hour twenty minutes drive from Alleppey. Then you will be taken for sightseeing in Cochin you will visit Kochi Fort, Mattancherry Palace, Cherai beach, St. Francis Church. You can spend some time in your preferred places in Kochi. Chennai to Kochi is a beautiful tour which covers all the amazing places of South India, nature, the view, everything about this place is beautiful.
